......watch me!

So going throught the list of things I'd like to do...i came upon sky diving...my husband really wants to do it but me on the other hand..not so much. I am afraid of heights and dont like to fly so putting those two together THEN jumping out of the plane and plummeting to the earth at a rediculous speed may very well give me a heart attack. so needless to say I am not feeling that adventurous..YET! (one day)

My next thought was hang gliding....PERFECT.

A nice leisurely glide down to earth. now thats more my style. so we are planning a trip to Chattanooga next weekend for some time away. Camping, hang gliding and possibly white water rafting.

well back to planning my next adventure....stay tuned for my post on how it went =)

......things i love

i adore the ocean. not just looking at it from above but "seeing" it from below. its as if there is a whole other planet of living creatures under the sea. i am simply fascinated by it.

this last trip to the carribean we saw the elusive octopus out of hiding in its full glory! it was so exciting. we had seen many octopus in their homes but never out and fully spread. until now....

it was a moment we wont forget!

there are so many other wonderful things to see...

...till next time

.....it's about time girl!

i have never had the need for a passport and it wasnt until my mid 30's that i even thought i could get one. i always had in my head that i would never have enough money to travel far enough to actually use one.

passports are for RICH people right...wrong!
i am far from rich but that doesnt mean i am not entitled to have one. so this year i applied-paid for-and recieved my very own passport :) now i am free to see the WORLD!!

in june of this year i got my very first stamp! my husband and i traveled to the british virgin islands and we whipped that sucker out like we were RICH and gotter done! woooohooo
now we are determined to fill those pages with stamps from as many places as we can.
stamp #2 comes this december when we scuba dive the turks and caicos islands for 7 full days!
